A passionate and creative cook, Nilou hails from a family and cultural lineage where good cooking is highly valued. During her shelter-in-place time, she put together a collection of her family’s favorite dishes, presented in a clear and simple visual system.
Prior to the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Nilou worked in the wedding industry as a Planner and award-winning Officiant, traveling all over the US and internationally to perform customized, romantic and unique wedding ceremonies. Nilou is also a veteran in the non-profit field and has worked as a fundraiser, founder and director of several organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Anthropology and a master’s degree in International Affairs.
